INTERNATIONAL LAWYERS PROGRAMME OF THE COLLEGE OF LAW
Monday 19th of May 2008 (Dr. Web Master)

The International Lawyers programme is a structured training programme at Master’s degree level. It is delivered through a joint initiative by The College of Law, the Law Society's International Division and the European Lawyers Association.

A key part of the programme is the 3 month practical attachment within a law firm or an in-house legal department. Over the years we have forged impressive links with many leading London law firms and corporate leaders who endorse the programme as highly valuable for participants and law firms alike.

The placement experience offers superb networking opportunities and gives overseas lawyers the opportunity to demonstrate expertise in their field and put into practice their newly gained knowledge of English law and practice.

Why choose our International Lawyers Diploma programme?

  • practical training by qualified solicitors/barristers
  • an in-depth exposure to the legal system of England and Wales
  • earn two thirds towards an LL.M in Professional Legal Practice
  • potential dual-qualification through QLTT
  • an internationally recognised qualification
  • practice lead personal and professional development that may not be available in your own jurisdiction
  • superb networking opportunities
